Little Ones and Family Session
Booking York Session
We will work together on determining the perfect location and style for the session. Sessions are held at the studio or on location, whether it's your home, a nearby park, urban location or one of my favorite locations.
I will block out two hours for your session, leaving plenty of time for snack breaks and clothing changes. I don't want you to feel rushed. Some children are all smiles and love the camera but many take a little while to warm up. The more relaxed you are, the more relaxed they will be.
What to Expect
Sessions are relaxed, fun, and simple. I like to take the time to get to know your child to draw out natural expressions and their unique personality, not just the smiles. I love for parents to be in some of the photographs with their children. I can get some of the strongest images of a child interacting with their parent without the image looking posed or unnatural.
What To Bring
Please bring any special items that you would like included. While you may not want their favorite toy in every image, you will love those images when you look back years from now. Hats, umbrellas, rain boots, tutus, even those princess pjs she insists on wearing every night can be fun for a few. If you are torn on what to wear, bring it all and I will help put something together for you at the session. Also, make sure to bring snacks and something to drink for the little ones.
Proofs & Ordering
Your pictures will be ready for viewing in an online private gallery here on my website within 10 days. I will send you an email with a password to your online proofing gallery. The gallery will display approximately 20 images, each personally and creatively edited by myself. Your online gallery will remain active for 2 weeks. A blog post for you to share with your family and friends will also be ready at this time.
You can order by sending me an email with your choice of package. Once full payment is received, your products will be ordered. Your prints, canvases and other products are all printed at a professional lab and are available for pick up within two to three weeks of your order being placed unless otherwise noted.
Any unordered images will be archived. Once the gallery has been archived, there will be a $25 fee to republish it for 7 days.
